Who was he? Was he Tyler? Was he alive?

Extraction is a action packed movie released by Netflix and directed by Sam Hargrave starring Chris Hemsworth. It has no solid story or plot. The story seems to be just another action movie story. Netflix was expected to create better than this.

Did you noticed that they increased the temperature of the video quality of this movie. The video quality is yellowish like they do to differentiate between America and Mexico in some movies. Comment below if you noticed that.

Movie starts with abduction of a 14 year old boy, Ovi Mahajan (Rudraksh Jaiswal), son of India's biggest druglord by Bangladesh's druglord. Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth) a mercenary, was assigned to rescue the boy from Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Tyler rescued Ovi from kidnappers and was on his way to leave the city on a boat with his team and the boy. Saju (Randeep Hooda), a soldier and a henchman of Ovi's father,  decided to bring back the boy in fear of his family being killed by his boss nor he had money to pay the money for extraction. He killed Tyler's team and attacked on Tyler after Tyler rescued the boy from kidnappers.

Amir Asif , druglord of Bangladesh was informed that the boy was rescued. He immedately calls for lockdown of the city and search for the boy and his rescuer.

Tyler along with the boy started running away from the police and Saju in a car. This whole scene was shot very well. Movement of camera during fights in balcony was awesome. Fight scene between Tyler and Saju was thrilling. Randeep Hooda tried a new role of a action hero in this movie. 

Ovi and Tyler met Farhad and his gang who works for Asif on their way out of the city. Tyler knocked them but didn't kill them. They are later picked up by an old friend and retired squadmate of Rake's living in Dhaka, Gasper and he took them to a safe place. Ovi and Tyler talked about Tyler's six year old dead son. Gasper returned and trieed to convince Tyler to kill the boy. This resulted into a melee fight and ended up Gasper being shot by Ovi.

Tyler called Saju to help him to rescue the boy. They together decided to fight against the police and cross the bridge, only way to move out of the city. Tyler's recruiter Nik came on the other side of the bridge to help them. Saju was shot dead by a sniper and Tyler was also shot by Farhad in the neck. Ovi cried for Tyler and Tyler unconsciously fell into the river and presumed to be dead. The boy was rescued by Nik.

Eight months later, Nik killed Amir Asif in a washroom. 

Ovi jumped into a swimming pool. When he came out, there was a figure of a man who looks exactly like Tyler.Was he Tyler or just a memory of him in Ovi's mind?

I think he might be Tyler who was alive. He might have survived that fall. This will be confirmed only in Extraction 2.
